What does Lower CapeTV provide?
LCTV provides video tools (a three camera studio, portable cameras, and editing computers) that enable residents and non-profit organizations to produce television programming.
LCTV provides training workshops on how to use this equipment.
LCTV operates the channel to play these TV programs.
What is the cost?
For a yearly membership of $25 (waived the first year) all workshops and equipment usages are free.
Can I bring in a program that is already produced?
Yes, you can be a “presenter” of outside programming and there is no charge for this.
What other services does Lower Cape TV offer?
LCTV cablecasts other programming of interest to the community such as “Democracy Now” and “Classic Arts Showcase” from our satellite dish, and programming of interest produced in Massachusetts
How can I get involved?
As a Producer: Bring your idea for a show, get a crew together for training, and make TV!
As part of a Crew: Learn to operate a studio camera, sound board or the switcher.
As an Editor: Learn how to edit using our Apple Computers with Final Cut Pro X. And we can teach you!
As a Videographer: Take out our portable cameras and videotape community events!
