Even if it's only $10, your support matters! Lower Cape TV helps our community shape and share the stories that shape our lives and our region, reflecting who we are and supporting our rich diversity. With your support, we can support the community more.
Lower Cape TV is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. It provides access to all residents and businesses to create their own video and TV content. It also runs a professional newsroom, Lower Cape News, which reports stories impacting and reflecting the Lower Cape community.
By creating and producing local content, our community can shape and share the stories that matter to us, to our neighbors, and to the greater communities across Cape Cod and beyond. Together, we create a local voice.
Lower Cape TV does not depend upon advertising or membership fees to create, tell and share these local stories. Our baseline funding comes from a small slice of the revenue the cable provider generates in our communities, based on the 1984 Cable Act PEG requirements. These funds help us keep the doors open. Your help - through sponsorships, underwriting, and donations -- makes it possible for Lower Cape TV to continue its mission to produce relevant local content and to support, teach, and provide access to enable residents and organization to tell their stories and share their voices.
Together, we make Lower Cape TV a stronger community resource for us all!
