Here at Lower Cape TV, we have a set of circulating gear (camera, tripod, audio) that you can check out and use to create content that will appear on Channel 26 or 22.

To borrow equipment, just follow these four simple steps:

STEP 1: GET AN EQUIPMENT CARD

Just like you use a library card to check out books from the library, you use an equipment card to check out video equipment from Lower Cape TV. You must have an equipment card in order to check out gear from Lower Cape TV .

Getting an equipment card is free and easy. Just schedule your short training at production@lowercapetv.org or 508-694-3500. If you are part of an organization, we'll even do a custom workshop for your small group.

STEP 2: RESERVE THE EQUIPMENT

Let us know what you need and when you need it. We typically check out equipment for a 24-hour period. Email production@lowercapetv.org or call 508-694-3500 to make your reservation.

STEP 3: PICK UP THE EQUIPMENT

Stop by the studio and pick up your reserved equipment. It will be packed into a carrying bag and ready to use.

STEP 4: RETURN THE EQUIPMENT

When you are finished, return the equipment to the studio and check it back in. Don't forget to download your files! If you need help editing, book a time in the editing suite or an editing coaching appointment.
